Boiler Installation

Replacing your damaged boiler with a shiny new one can certainly hurt your bank balance but it’s not all doom and gloom!

There are some great benefits from changing your central heating system, particularly if you don’t currently have Thermostatic Radiator Valves (TRVs) or a room thermostat on your system. Let’s take a closer look at what those benefits are…

Cost Savings

The Energy Saving Trust estimates that a central heating boiler accounts for a whopping 60% of your household energy bills! Boilers today are more energy efficient so by installing a new boiler you can make a big difference to those monthly bills. Depending on your gas usage, moving to a more efficient condensing boiler could save £200-300 per year.

Usage Efficiency

By installing a heating system with a control and TRVs you can set the temperature in each room separately to ensure that you’re only heating the rooms you use the most. That way you can save money by not having to heat the whole house. Each TRV can shut off its radiator from the main central heating system and you can set each room at the desired temperature. This saves a lot of money over the lifetime of the boiler as well as keeping the temperature at the right level.

Quieter Boiler Operation

The improved design and better materials used to make boilers today can result in significantly quieter operation than older type boilers. This can make quite a difference if your boiler is situated on the landing or the other side of a bedroom wall.

Smaller Size

Modern boilers are often much smaller than older ones and there are more alternatives for placing them on walls rather than just on the floor - they can often be hidden behind a kitchen cupboard or in the loft! If you’re living in a smaller house or need some valuable storage space then this can free up some room for you.

So if you need your boiler servicing or you’re now thinking you might like a new one then you’ve come to the right place!
